Business Spotlight: KLOE Salon

KLOE Salon is an esthetics and skin care clinic located in Shoreview, owned and operated by Krista Leigh Olson. The clinic provides the community with a place to leave their stresses at the door and focus on their skin care goals. With over 18 years of experience in the beauty industry, Krista prioritizes building and maintaining client relationships while also delivering results. Over the last five years Krista has become a valued member and contributor to the Shoreview business community.

Krista initially began her professional career as an opera singer with a degree in music. Though she continues to enjoy music as a personal hobby, she decided early on that another calling would serve her better. She then attended Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute and worked in the Dinky Town area as an esthetician for six years. With her education, experience and confidence in her skills, she opened KLOE Salon in 2014. Later in 2021, drawn in by circumstance, community, and opportunities in the area, she moved KLOE to Shoreview. 

One of her main motivations in her work is to produce results and satisfaction for her clients, especially for those who have struggled with their goals in the past. In what she describes as her niche, she enjoys the personable service and the everyday social interactions of helping clients. By focusing on long and trusting relationships, Krista has had some clients for over 15 years. Through these relationships, she has expanded her services to friends and family of her clients. Seeing the daughters, parents, and loved ones of clients has come to embody what community means.

After settling into the Shoreview community and building a strong foundation, Krista was ready to leap forward. She launched her own line of skin care products in 2023, known as KLOE Complexions. This next business step has allowed her to enhance her own services at the clinic as well as bring a bit of that personal care into the homes of clients. In the future, she expects to launch new products, provide new services, and continue to educate herself in new skin care technology. Reaching out towards other community businesses is another goal of hers. She hopes to form new partnerships and to spread business related information.
