Farzana and Cory, both long-time residents of the neighboring city of Arden Hills, envisioned In Vino Veritas as a place where people could escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and simply enjoy a relaxed, upscale atmosphere. "We just want people to come in and relax," Farzana explained, “It's a classy bar, a nice place to have a glass of wine, beer, or some light food.”

They host live music on Saturday nights, and open mic night every Thursday. "We've seen more and more people show up for music on Saturdays for specific bands," Cory noted.
“We're also looking for people who want to try comedy. If people want to come up and give us a few minutes of a set or something of that nature, open mic night would be great. We'd love for this to turn into a place for comedy here in Shoreview.” These events have become a cornerstone of the wine bar's appeal, drawing in locals who appreciate good music, fun, fine wine, and the company of friends.
Looking ahead, Farzana and Cory have steady plans for growth for In Vino Veritas. They envision the wine bar becoming a beloved fixture in Shoreview, known for its classy and serene environment. "Shoreview council members and the city workers made it possible. Honestly, without them, this bar wouldn’t exist." Farzana shared. "They were so on task, and they got things done on time. It felt like they wanted this as much as we did." This sense of community and collaboration has been key to the wine bar's early success.
Despite the challenges of navigating a new industry and the broader economic landscape, Farzana and Cory remain optimistic about the future. "It's been a rough year, learning the ropes," Cory admitted. Their passion for creating a welcoming space for the community, combined with their determination to succeed, suggests that In Vino Veritas is poised for long-term success.
