Community Center

Shoreview Community Center is a world-class facility that offers programs, activities, and special events year-round. The 90,000-square-foot facility is home to two popular water parks, a large indoor playground, fitness studios, cardio and weight equipment, a gymnasium, indoor walking track, and several meeting and banquet rooms. 

Approximately 525,000 visitors came to the community center in 2018. Bamboo Bay, a new 7,000 square foot zero-depth water park was added during an expansion in 2018. Located next to the original pool, Bamboo Bay features a tunnel slide, small racing slides, spray features and a large dumping bucket. The zero-entry pool has a maximum depth of 24 inches, making it ideal for younger guests. The area also offers rental cabanas for parties. Tropics water park includes a large lap pool and open swim area, a four-story waterslide, a zero-depth area with a small slide, a water walk, floating sea creatures, and volleyball and basketball. 

Tropical Adventure Indoor Playground was also expanded in 2018. The playground includes a large toddler area, stadium-style parent seating, multiple slides and fun interactive features for kids 10 & under. The nearby restrooms and many storage cubbies make the playground easy to access for all families. 

Four state-of-the-art fitness studios were built in 2018. The studios also can provide specialty classes like cycling and hot yoga. The fitness center includes cardio and weight equipment and a stretching area.

The water parks, playground, walking track, gym, and fitness center are all included with daily admission or are free to members.
